Swat Valley & Northern Areas Need quick Attention:

Swat is a valley situated in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and it is located close to the Pak-Afghan border. Swat is the land of legend, romance, and magnificence. Swat valley has sky-scraping mountains, green fields, and clear lakes; it is a place of enormous natural loveliness and is well-liked with tourists as the Switzerland of the region. Swat valley was the historical land as well. If the provincial government, focusing on the development of the Swat valley, it can provide a large foreign exchange. Whenever the federal budget is tabled in National Assembly. The provincial government has asked the federal government funds for additional expenses. 

If the provincial government spends funds on the development of Swat and other northern areas of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Then the provincial government will be asked for financial help from the federal government. Whenever a new provincial government comes to power it ignores the Swat valley and northern areas. That is sheer prejudice and injustice to the people of such areas. If both federal and provincial governments want to end dependence on the Foreign States and International financial institutes. Then both federal and provincial governments must draw attention to tourism as well as to the development of Swat valley and other northern areas of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Grant should also be allocated which is to be utilized for the development of agricultural sectors which have been badly affected because of militancy in Swat. Financial assistance would help fruit and vegetable growers in Swat improve production and their marketing cost chain. More funds were allocated to rebuilding the Swat valley. We can change the future of our children with education and tourism in the Swat valley and northern areas, the people of Swat and northern areas need quick attention and education is the only way to get the best result. I hope that both federal and provincial governments will take this matter seriously and they will take positive steps for the development of these areas.
