People
with disabilities face particular challenges in many fields, especially in
developing countries. Disabled people may encounter discrimination and barriers
to full participation in skills training and employment programs. Every year
the entire world celebrates a day for the disabled people enthusiastically on
the other hand nobody helps them, especially in developing countries. All the
governments as well as other welfare organizations for special persons only pay
lip service to this cause without taking any practical steps.
Being
a special class of disabled persons. I request government institutions and in
addition to private organizations to create home-based job opportunities for disabled
people, most of whom are unable to go to a remote workplace. Most of the
developed countries have special job arrangements for disabled people, and
these institutions must have to take serious steps in this regard because we
(special persons) can play an important role in improving the country’s
economic conditions.
Appeal to Secretary-General United Nations:
I
have sent many online applications to sub-organizations of the United Nations.
Like UNDP, ILO, etc. The authorities of such organizations did not call me even
for an interview. They ignore my request. Then why to celebrate world disabled
day, what is the purpose of celebrating International disabled day every year.
I appeal to the authorities of these sub-organizations of UN, Please at least
call the Disabled People for interview. I hope that Secretary-General United
Nations will take serious and concrete steps in this regard.
