Khawaja Mohammad Baqi Billah Tomb Shrine Dehli India
(May Allah Have Mercy on Him)
Birth: 971 A.H, (1563 A.D.) Death: 1012 A.H, (1603 A.D.).
Before coming to the sub-continent, Khawaja Mohammad Baqi-Bil-Lah
had a dream. He saw a parrot sitting on a branch of a tree and he wished it
would come and sit on his hand so that the boredom of his impending journey be
somewhat relieved.
All at once the parrot came and sat on his hand and he
put his saliva in its mouth and in return, the parrot put some sugar in his
mouth.
He completed his religious education through strenuous
exercises and was awarded the robe of lieutenancy by Khawaja Amkangi, in the
Naqshbandiya order.
He came to Lahore in 1008 A.H, then arrived in Dehli via
Sirhind and launched his career of teaching in guidance. His attractive
personality checked the waywardness of Emperor Akbar.
Khawaja Muhammad Baqi-Bil-Lah was a mirror reflection of
the good manner of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). In a short period, he
paved the way for a great revolution which was led by his disciple, Hazrat
Mujaddid Alif Sani.
His Tomb Shrine is situated in Dehli India.
