Sayyed Ali Tirmizi, Pir Baba Bunir
(May Allah have Mercy on Him)
Birth: 908 A.H, (1502 A.D.) Death: 991 A.H, (1583 A.D.)
He arrived in Peshawar from Ajmer Sharif and began to
teach as well as providing spiritual guidance, numerous people became his
disciples.
He was born in Qundus. Later on, he settled in Tirmiz.
First, he completed the acquisition of exoteric knowledge and then turn towards
esoteric one.
In this connection, he derived spiritual blessing in the
tomb of Sharifuddin Bu Ali Qalandar of Panipat and then he became a disciple
and Lieutenant of Hazrat Salaar Rumi at Ajmer Sharif.
From Ajmer Sharif, he came to Peshawar and built his
monastery in the area of Buner. Among his disciples were great scholars like
Akhund Darweza (died, 1040 A.H.). He won the hearts of people through his
generosity, and, thus helped to spread. He also eradicated the evil effects of
fake Sufis (mystic). Sayyed Ali Tirmizi Pir BaBa tomb shrine is at Buner Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa KPK Pakistan.
