WhatsApp introduced Editing
in Messages with a new feature
After testing the message editing option, WhatsApp
has introduced this feature to the public. According to global media reports,
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Facebook that users would be able to edit
WhatsApp messages for 15 minutes after sending them.
The company said the
feature is being rolled out globally while a similar feature is already
available on Apple's iMessage. Earlier, WhatsApp's news app WA Beta Info said
that the new beta version is adding an edit option that will provide the facility
to correct errors and edit messages.
For editing the message, you have to hold
your finger on the message for a while and after selecting it, touch the
vertical lines on the top and the edit button will appear. By selecting this,
you can fix the message and remove typing errors. This can be done within 15
minutes of sending the message.
