World Diabetes Day 2020

World Diabetes Day is celebrated around the world every year on November 14 under the auspices of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). The purpose of this day is to spread awareness around the world and to pay tribute to Fredrick Banting, the inventor of insulin.

World Diabetes Day

World Diabetes Day was first observed in 1991 by the IDF and the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise public awareness of the dangers of diabetes and the timely treatment of diabetes. On World Diabetes Day, we will try to explain to you what are the common causes and how to prevent it.

Causes and Reason:

Diabetes actually affects our body when the pancreas in our body stops working properly and cannot produce large amounts of insulin, due to which the sugar in our diet cannot be digested.

The main causes of diabetes:

  • Obesity
  • Sedentary LifeStyle
  • Diabetes is common in the family (Family History)
  • Non-Healthy Food
  • Increasing age
  • Blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Blood Fat Imbalance (Dyslipidemia)

Conclusion:

According to health experts, prevention of diabetes is possible only through diet and a healthy lifestyle. Diabetes patients need exercise and care along with diet.
