COVID-19 illness concerning sleep and poor health

Do you want to avoid being a victim of Covid-19? therefore adopt this habit immediately

Lack of sleep can be devastating to physical health, but it can also greatly increase the risk of covid 19, a disease caused by the coronavirus.

This was revealed in a new medical study, which found that people who sleep well and are satisfied with their jobs have a significantly lower risk of covid-19

coronavirus

The results of the study are also shocking because it would involve medical personnel who are more likely to be infected with the coronavirus than the general population, or so to speak, at higher risk.

The study involved 2,844 health workers and found that every extra hour of sleep at night reduced the risk of covid-19 by 12%.

The study also found that people who suffer from work-related fatigue or lack of physical energy are 2.6 times more likely to be diagnosed with covid-19 than others.

In fact, such people have a longer duration of covid-19 and more severe symptoms.

The researchers said that the research shows the importance of such factors that increase the risk of covid. They have nothing to do with hygiene and reinforce the idea that proper sleep and reduced work stress can protect people from pandemics.

He added that the results indicate that sleep duration at night, sleep problems, and work-related stress or other problems may be factors that increase the risk of viral diseases such as covid.

This is the first study to link sleep habits to the risk of COVID-19.

That is, the duration of sleep at night, nap times in the afternoon, and sleep problems, etc.

The results of the study were published March 22 in the medical journal BMJ Nutrition, Prevention, and Health.

A survey of participants in this study determined which of them had a higher risk of covid-19.

According to research, every extra hour of sleep every night reduces the risk of covid-19 by 12%, but every extra hour of sleep in the afternoon increases this risk by 6%.

The study, which ran from July 17 to September 25, 2020, found that 72 percent of the respondents were men, with an average age of 48.

The 568 people surveyed said they had contracted covid-19, while all said they lived very close to covid-19 patients in their hospitals.

Simply put, the more sleep you enjoy at night, the more you will prepare your body to fight covid-19 or any other disease.

Past research reports have shown that people with sleep problems or those who sleep for 5 or 6 hours have a higher risk of respiratory diseases and related problems.
